But Harpie’s writings are cathartic for her, and if you can’t handle reading graphic recollections of the good, bad, and ugly, you are missing out on poignant, informative, and thought provoking tales that you will remember long after you finish the last page of this journal. Yes, I’ve had some horrible relationships, even one that entailed brutality, but those details remain only in my brain for me and my therapist. Harpie keeps a thorough diary - chock full of events most would never dare write unless we did so in code only we could decipher. ![]() But it seems each horrible event in her life enhances her power to plow ahead. She is what many of us aspire to be – without all the heartbreak she has to endure. I don’t know about every woman, however I fell in love with the incredibly flawed yet resilient woman, and wanted her in my life. These diary journals are lush philosophical tales that will make you laugh and also make you cry. I’ve been a fan of British humor for some time, and read much of Karl Wiggins’s work, mostly those candid reflections of his life. ![]()

Whenever anyone asks him how he learned to build rockets, he says, ‘I read books.’ In fact, after meeting Musk, people tend to walk away with the same reaction: ‘He’s the smartest guy I’ve ever met.’ ![]() I think he’s also one of the boldest men that ever came down the pike. I think Elon Musk is a genius, and I don’t use that word lightly.
